About Oleana

Recipient of an award for Design Excellence from the Norwegian Design Council five times, Oleana has created an aesthetic that exemplifies quality, uniqueness and beauty. Oleana's collection consists of new designs along with those that have been in the collection many years which creates opportunities for new combinations and variations. Designer Solveig Hisdal is inspired by the patterns and colours of many different cultures including Chinese and Italian, Oleana continues to offer unique and exciting patterns both in their sweaters and their blankets.

Oleana creates garments you will feel pampered and loved in. The entire collection: sweaters, jackets, pullovers, tops, belts, wristbands, skirts, shawls, hats, cloaks, blankets and pillows uses only natural fibres such as Norwegian and merino wool, silk, alpaca and cashmere, all produced in Oleana's own factory in Espeland near Bergen, Norway. Many of the garments can be worn for both everyday and more formal occasions, depending on the accessories.
